Inside the Sella & Mosca estate, there´s a piece of land rich in minerals that gives the wine an unrepeatable taste: " Tanca Farra´ " . From there, the origin of the name of this red, full-bodied wine obtained from a careful piece of work and with an unmistakable aroma of prestigious wood. Serving suggestionsServe the wine at a temperature of 18°C.Leave the bottle preferably uncorked at least two hours before serving or ideally poured into a decanter. Perfect with all red meats, as well as game and mature cheeses. Methods of productionThe harvest-time for the Cannonau grapes is the end of september, and for the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes is the first ten days of october. That´s when the grapes are more mature. After being pressed gently, they are soaked in cold liquid for about three days; then, fermented at a temperature of 22-24°C.The two grapes are, finally, fused to complete the process of wine -making. The ageing lasts about three years, during which the must is kept first in barriques and then in casks at a temperature of 15°C. At last, six months in the bottle.Grapes used: the most popular Sardinian vine, the Cannonau, and the most international of the red vines, the Cabernet Sauvignon. To be drunk after 5-6 years of ageing provided is kept in horizontal position and at the right temperature to improve the quality of the wine.
